Big Thankyou to the Golden Bay MTB Club

Me (Reece) and Ari would just like to say a big thank you to the Golden Bay Mountain Bike club for giving use money to help cover some of the petrol costs. Over the past weekend we have travelled down to Timaru to compete in the south island secondary schools. We had an awesome time and it was a great experience for the both of us. I managed to get a forth overall in my grade (under 16s) with a 1^st in the DH, 7^th in the XC and 8^th in the HC. Ari got 8^th in the XC and 9^th in the HC  in his grade (under19s). Ari couldn’t get an overall placing because he didn’t do all three events. Karl and Landscope

I would just like to say a huge thanks to Karl/Landscope for coming up to my downhill track in his own time to help build a big new jump. And also to his digger Scoop who made it alot easier to build and shape. If anybody is interested come out and give it a go. It's awesome!

Brutal Bruce strikes again!

This is a new adition to Bruces collection of destroyed bike parts. This is what happened on my downhill track up East Takaka on Tuesday afternoon. Bruce was going around a sharp off camber corner when he saw my dad taking photos and somthing went horribly wrong and he ended up destroying yet another front wheel. (Thankyou for the shuttles)

My new drop

These are just a few pictures of the new jump I made this weekend. Everybody should come out and give it a go.

Its spring and my downhill track up East Takaka is dry and ready to go. If you would like to do shuttles on it give me a call on 5258707 or 0277395027. I need to get permission from Jim Bennet for you to use the access track.. Its pretty steep so its probably an advanced level track.

This is me (Reece) doing a sweet whip over my new road gap. come out to East Takaka and have a look at it and maybe give it a go. Also while you are out here have a ride on my downhill track.

Ride up the tumeke logging track to the second corner and you will see a track going off. be carfull its steep and theres drops in the track. HAVE FUN
